Hello! Aloha! Hola! Ciao!

I’m Sara Williams (née Khwaja), a west coast art director, graphic designer, photography hobbyist, ocean lover …

I began my academic training at Parsons School of Design in NYC before moving to FIDM in LA and earning a degree in Fashion Design. From there I went on to work in fashion, retail, visual merchandising and fine art before returning to school to earn a BA in Graphic Design from Loyola Marymount University.

Over the last twenty years I have delved into many different disciplines, from traditional design and typography to visual merchandising and experiential design. I absolutely love
being a designer and seeing rough concepts develop and ultimately come to life.

My background has helped me to develop a deeper understanding of how to respond to and care for different clientele and brands, enriching the client experience through communicative and visually stunning branding, merchandising and product development.

Four words that describe me are: creative, lively, thoughtful and strategic.

In my spare time, I am an avid traveler, a mom of two, a compulsive reader (currently studying sustainability and plastics), a music enthusiast, and a complete aquaphile.

I’ve worked with many creatives over the years and can confidently say Sara has everything it takes and then some: smart and easy to work with, innovative designs, highly efficient, open to feedback, and executes flawlessly.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.
